We, Minly, (hereinafter referred to as “Minly”); and

Minly owns website and application named “Minly” (the “Platform”) which allows actors, singers, athletes, artists, influencers and other public figures (each hereinafter referred to as “Celebrity” or collectively “Celebrities”) to create for the benefit and ownership of Minly a personalized shout-out video or other media content to the users of the Platform upon their request to Minly by the Celebrity of choice (hereinafter referred to as “Content”).

At Minly, we are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy.

When you use our Platform, you will share some information with us. We will do our best to let you know about the information we collect and why we collect it.

By accepting this Privacy Policy you hereby acknowledge that you have read and understood its terms and agree to comply and be bound by them. You hereby approve that we will be processing your personal data (including your name, age, contact details, financial and device information). You also hereby acknowledge that you have the legal capacity to accept and be bound by this Privacy Policy.

We will store your data and information as long as we can. However, you are entitled at all times to withdraw your consent, but please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. We also note that there may be legal requirements to store your data which we will need to comply with. We will also refrain from approving your request if we are notified of a valid legal process asking us to preserve content, if we receive reports of abuse or other violations, or if your account is flagged by our automated systems for abuse. We collect your information through different channels.

We collect information that you provide to us upon creating your account, registering on the Platform or throughout your usage of the Platform. For example, we need to collect your name, username, password, email address, phone number, and date of birth upon your registration on the Platform. This helps us identify, detect and prevent fraud. We may also ask you to provide us with some additional information that will be publicly visible on our services, such as a profile picture.

When you contact customer support or communicate with us in any other way, we will collect whatever information you volunteer or that we need to answer your questions.

We also keep track of the Celebrities you viewed, contacted or sent a Content Request to. We generally collect information about your activity through on the Platform (including, your device information such as your web browser type and language; details about how you have used our Platform; access times; pages viewed; IP address; and identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that may uniquely identify your device or browser). We may collect information about you from other users, our affiliates, and third parties as legally allowed.

We collect information from and about the devices you use, including but not limited to:

  • information about your hardware and software, such as the hardware model, operating system version, device memory, advertising identifiers, unique application identifiers, apps installed, unique device identifiers, browser type, language, battery level, and time zone;
  • information from device sensors, such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, compasses, microphones, and whether you have headphones connected;
  • information about your wireless and mobile network connections, such as mobile phone number, service provider, IP address, and signal strength;
  • we may collect information about your location. With your permission, we may also collect information about your precise location using methods that include GPS, wireless networks, cell towers, Wi-Fi access points, and other sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers, and compasses.

We may also use these technologies to collect information when you interact with services we offer through one of our partners, such as advertising and commerce features.     We use TrueDepth API technologies (ARKit, with automatic estimation of the real-world directional lighting environment) to create AR effects within the App. The only use of this information is to provide valuable user features. None of the information collected by the TrueDepth API ever leaves the user’s device. We do not share information with third parties, do not store or process in any other way the data which we accessed and used via TrueDepth API.     Our technology uses this information to allow for the creation of various AR effects & filters. None of the information is gathered or used for any other purpose, and additionally it is only stored locally on the device.

    All of this helps us provide you with a better service and a better experience on the Platform. It also helps us create a safer and more secure environment on the Platform.

    We also use online advertising to share with you any exciting updates or updates that we are legally required to send. We manage this through a variety of digital marketing networks and ad exchanges. We also use a range of advertising technologies. Our advertising is based on your use of the Platform or ads you previously clicked on.

    We may introduce changes to this policy at any time, in which case we will notify you so that you are able to review the changes made.

    We may share any of the aforementioned information with our busines partners , affiliates, third parties or with the general public if the nature of the information allows us to do so.  We may share information about you for legal, safety, and security reasons. We may share information about you if we reasonably believe that disclosing the information is needed to:

  • comply with any valid legal process, governmental request, or applicable law, rule, or regulation.
  • investigate, remedy, or enforce potential violations
  • protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
  • detect and resolve any fraud or security concerns.
  • We may share your information if Minly gets involved in a merger, asset sale, financing, liquidation or bankruptcy, or acquisition of all or some portion of our business to another company or if Minly sees a commercial benefit in doing so.

    We may also share with third parties that provide services to us or perform business purposes for us aggregated, non-personally identifiable, or de-identified information.

    You hereby acknowledge and approve that we may collect your personal information from, transfer it to, store and/or process it in countries other than the Arab Republic of Egypt.

    We will use our best efforts at all time to protect your data. We will undertake all necessary legal measures in case of any data leaks.

    You hereby understand that in case you access any third party platform, including payment gateways, through any link or advertisement on the Platform, Minly does not control such third party and does not guarantee the safety of any information or data you may provide to any third party.

    You hereby acknowledge and agree that you acceptance of this Privacy Policy is an agreement and that you hereby consent to all the terms of this Privacy Policy.

    The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

    Log Data

    We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
